I have the perfect guitar for this. My son is afraid of frogs. He's fourteen and I'm building him a GA Indian Rosewood with a Cedar top. More on that later. I'll post a pic. PS I love your little froggie! ![]() You can read a bit about this guitar here: |

verhoevenc I think this a great effort. I've stuck with the wood side of things and always admire those who artistically express themselves through inlay. ![]() Back to my son... I've heard we should always face our fears... he can't wait to get his hands on his guitar. Maybe this would help him get over his fear of frogs. My brother is four years my senior. The only power I've ever had over him was a toad. I could run him all over the neighborhood screaming bloody-murder. Heh-heh! I missed that genetic trait, but my son got it... bad. When JP was in diapers, the daycare lady said, has someone scared this child with a frog? We confessed not. She was greatly puzzled. I wasn't. Is their really a fear of frogs? Must be. My brother would have thought he was in frog hell if he'd gone frog gigging with me and my neighbor. Let me confess my love of frog... legs... Tastes like chicken. |

Verhoevenc -- it looks pretty darn good to me! ![]() Or if you still want to give it away -- give it to Lance -- it's a good likeness ![]() |

Bahamas Arkansas.... grin... As you can guess, I'm a great kidder. Why do you think I'm interested in your froggie for my frog-fearing son? Talk about a practical joke. Lance's inlay that Craig did would be way too much, maybe he can handle half a frog? bd |

Chris, The joke was that Bruce was in the Bahamas, when actually he is in Arkansas. He was not kidding about the frog, he really wants it! ![]() Tracy |

![]() Chris is in Miami, but headed for Georgetown University in DC. Hey Chris, I saw the other inlays you have on your webpages. Mostly electric guitars, with an interest in acoustics, but totally enamored with inlay. Nice Mustang inlay, mountain and moon, and others, plus some cool guitars. Here is a link to some of his webpages, FLASH 1MB download, worth the wait. I like this guitar drawing above a lot Chris: Mux Guitars Thanks for the inlay. |
